Expression and Exploration

Stephen Csejtey is a painter and sculptor living in Akron, Ohio whose works have been exhibited regionally since 1991.  As an art teacher in the local public school district there have been many opportunities to involve children in collaborative projects and public artworks.  Current works relate to the urban landscape and experimentation with natural and alternative painting media.

 

 

"My name is Steve, I live in a house with three chinchillas that smell bad, and three kids that smell bad...and my wife is beginning to smell bad.  I think she is getting old.  I go to work everyday and sometimes have no memory of anything I have done."
